College Experience
I began my journey at Georgia College as an education major, with the dream of becoming a history professor. I’ve always been passionate about explaining the complexities of history and helping others understand why it matters. During my sophomore year, I switched to a history major to dive deeper into understanding different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. Though I didn’t know it at the time, this laid the groundwork for my future in communications. My background in history gives me a deeper understanding of people and context, while my communications studies have given me the tools to reach them effectively.
